Essentials

Essentials is a  division of Envirodesigns committed to recycling all fabric and notions. Over the years the production staff of Envirodesigns has pondered over what could be done with leftover pieces of fabric and trims. In July of 1999, Envirodesigns decided to recycle this material and our sewing staff began designing various items that could be made from these remnants.

Good Ideas Materializing

Initially the idea of the "The Bag Ladies" materialized when fabric remnants were recycled into various travel bags. The creativity of designing bags inspired other items such as pot holders, aprons and pillows. After an assortment of essential items were produced Envirodesigns exhibited at a local craft show. Products were well received and Essentials has since expanded the fabric selection to include upholstery remnants from our local fabric supplier.
